Consider Your Users at all Times

If you are a business and want to stay that way, keeping your customers happy is vital. One way in which you can do this is to always remember your users when designing or editing your company’s web design. There are various ways in which you can do this.
A good idea to start off with is to look at websites of big brands and think about why they work well. Customers need to be able to access and browse them easily, so text must be clear and the pages uncluttered. Appropriate use of fonts and images is also very important, as it needs to be aimed at the right target market.
Flashy designs can often put customers off, especially if it is a retail or information site where they want to be able to make purchases quickly or access important text online. Large images and lots of Flash can slow down the loading time, which may cause visitors to leave and go elsewhere. This is why it needs to be kept simple and sleek.
Text should be easy to read and the right colour and size chosen, so that it stands out well against whatever colour background there is. Ecommerce sites should be easy to use and have a simple step-by-step process that customers can follow efficiently. This is crucial if you want to receive as many orders as possible. It is a good idea to have an FAQ section on there as well in case anyone has any problems. This will save them contacting you, as they may be able to resolve it themselves.
