Real Estate Web Design has Major Benefits
Posted 18 October 2011
Web design is a big part of marketing properties, whether domestic or commercial. It allows potential buyers to look through what’s on offer online from the comfort of their own home. They can even filter search results, dependent on what they are looking for. This may be by location, number of bedrooms or price range, amongst other options.
The user can search through photos, information and other aspects relating to the property they are interested in. Some estate agent websites also include a virtual tour of the house where they often have a video cam fitted into three or four different rooms to take photos and create a 360 view. This is often the front of the house or garden, a bedroom, kitchen and living room, although other rooms may also be available.
You can often input a search criteria when you first visit an estate agent’s website. It will ask you whether you are after a property to buy or rent. Then you can enter the town or postcode of the area that you are interested in. A minimum and maximum price range may also be an option, so that you can find somewhere within your budget without having to look through houses that are not affordable to you. A minimum number of bedrooms option is also a popular one. Some sites even have a feature that allows you to select properties that are suitable for you and shortlist them so you can go back and review them against others you have found during your search. This allows people to find the right one for them.
