Olyvia Fine Art’s Spring Show
Posted 21 April 2011
If, like us, you are a fan of contemporary art, don’t miss ‘Frontiers’ – the new spring show from Vizion Online client Olyvia Fine Art.
Over the last six years Olivia Fine Art has established itself as a leading gallery in contemporary Chinese painting. It has enjoyed great success promoting Chinese artists from the post 1989 avant-garde movements, and those born in the wake of the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Although Olyvia Fine Art has recently opened its doors to Western modern and contemporary art, its latest exhibition is a purely Asian offering with artists from China, Japan, Korea, Iran and India.
Many of the show’s artists come from countries with traditional values which are often at odds with the modern world. Frontiers looks at how these traditions live within a modern society and tackles the changes these artists face from their countries’ rapidly advancing transformations.
Frontiers runs until 15th May, from 10-6 Monday to Friday and on Saturday by appointment only.
