Last-Minute Christmas Presents…. That you can Print!
Posted 24 December 2012
Well. Christmas Eve has arrived, the annual television re-runs are out in full force and it’s more than possible that you’ve already started preparing the turkey for tomorrow’s festivities. Today is also a great opportunity to pour yourself a glass of mulled wine and watch Home Alone while you start to wrap up all of those presents that you’ve been carefully acquiring over the past few weeks.
Unless, that is, you still haven’t finished your Christmas shopping! Whether it’s for dad, the grandparents or even (say it quietly) your spouse, the pressure to come up with “perfect” gifts for your nearest and dearest can be almost overwhelming. To make matters worse, the city centres will be teeming with like-minded last-minute shoppers, making it both stressful and time-consuming to even browse possible options.
We’re no strangers to the pressures of Christmas shopping, so we thought that we would share with you a few last-minute Christmas presents that you can buy, and print, from the comfort of your own home. It might not sound exciting, but we reckon you could do a lot worse than going for one of the following options:
For the Tech Lover…
The humble gift voucher has long served as a means of salvation for last-minute present buyers. However, you might not have realised that you can actually print a voucher at home. There are now more options than ever before – and you’re certainly not limited to a book voucher… You can download a Kindle voucher, sign up a loved one for a subscription to Lovefilm, Netflix or Spotify, and even keep the gamers in your family satisfied by transferring funds to their account. If you’ve got an artist, graphic designer or web designer in the family, why not prepay for them to design their own iPhone or iPod cover?
For the Food & Drink Lover…
There are also numerous exciting vouchers available for the food and drink lovers in your family. You’re probably familiar with wine tasting and beer clubs. If you’re trying to find a gift for a meat-lover then a voucher for a local, organic meat delivery service will keep them smiling for weeks. If it’s a city-slicker that you’re trying to please then why not register them for a sushi making experience of a lifetime? The School of Food offer vouchers for their range of cookery classes in London that can be emailed to your loved one, although your timing will need to be impeccable… perhaps not the best gift to give after polishing off the lovingly, carefully-prepared Christmas dinner!
For the Adventure Lover…
Whether it’s a night in a hotel, money towards an adventure holiday of a lifetime or a voucher towards a day out at somewhere like Go Ape! there are more ways than ever before to keep the active members of your family happy this Christmas. If you’re struggling to find something for an adrenaline junkie or the family member who seems to have everything, why not buy them a supercar experience, hot air balloon ride or flight lesson?
We hope that you manage to find all that you’re looking for to keep everybody happy tomorrow. On behalf of everybody at VizionOnline we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas!
