Web Design

Many advances in technology have made reading more accessible, efficient and appealing to a wide range of audiences.  Kindles have created a new way to read books whilst on the go through the use of a portable electronic device, which is much easier to carry around than a bulky book.  You also have access to a larger amount of reading material within one location.  There is now also another new way to read.  This is via e-book websites, where you can buy electronic versions of a number of different books.  JK Rowling is soon to launch an interactive website for her Harry Potter novels, which does just this.

Where art meets web design, computer and internet technologies have made purchasing books much more convenient.  Just like music and films, which can be bought online instead of being ordered for home delivery, or to be picked up in person from a high street shop, books are now readily available in electronic formats.  These can be downloaded within seconds and all you need is an internet connection and a credit or debit card to complete the transaction.

You no longer have to wait to read your favourite book and you can store multiple novels on your computer, which saves space.  It also helps you to find them more easily, as a simple search will help to bring up the title you are looking for.  Because there are no printing costs involved, it will make it much cheaper to purchase, saving you more money.  There are many benefits to using e-book websites, so it is well worth a look.  If you are a writer, then you could even set up your own, in order to distribute and sell your work.
